About the role

This is an opportunity to build a partnership ecosystem around a solution that every business needs: automated cloud native management. In the current recessionary and inflationary environment, companies are looking for ways to reduce expenses, and few expenses are more burdensome than cloud costs. Cast AI's software cuts clients' cloud bills in half or more.

We are looking for a Partner Account Manager who is willing to turn the world upside down to make Cast AI the default cloud automation solution. With an objective, ROI-driven sale and a straightforward integration, this is a rewarding opportunity to help us build our partnership landscape.

This role is primarily focused on EMEA North, with room to expand into Central and then wider EMEA over time. You'll be building the partner ecosystem for the region almost from the ground up. While the team and relationships already exist, this is very much a hunter role, focused on creating a new go-to-market motion through the right partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build, almost from the bottom up, our partner and reseller ecosystem across all partner types
  • Create partnerships with companies such as resellers, MSPs, and DevOps consultancies
  • Drive toward a regional, active, working, and scaling pipeline of partner-sourced opportunities that impacts company-wide revenue results
  • Collaborate across every part of the company: sales and SE teams, marketing and events, R&D and product, finance and legal

Requirements

  • Based in London, UK
  • Strong existing relationships with regional Cloud/DevOps/Reseller partners
  • Minimum 5 years of partnerships experience
  • Background at a digital-native company, startup, or ISV: someone who has seen a partner ecosystem being built and wants to build one themselves, rather than someone coming from a large enterprise environment
  • Experience selling to DevOps/Engineering personas
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Hunger for a fast-moving, agile, and scaling work environment
  • Hard-working, independent, and self-driven work ethic; open to learning and feedback, yet reliable and independent in execution
  • Team player, natural and relationship-first collaborator
  • Willingness and ability to build a partner ecosystem from the bottom up
  • Love of process, sales, wins, and challenges; driven by overcoming obstacles
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to create engagement in a meeting

What's in it for you?

  • Competitive salary
  • Flexible, remote-first global environment
  • Collaboration with a global team of cloud experts and innovators, passionate about pushing the boundaries of Kubernetes technology
  • Equity options
  • Learning budget for professional and personal development, including access to international conferences and courses
  • Team-building budget and company events to connect with your colleagues
  • Equipment budget to ensure you have everything you need
  • Extra days off to help maintain a healthy work-life balance
  • Potential for personal growth and promotion as the company grows and success drives more hiring and more opportunities

Hiring process

  1. Screening call with Recruiter
  2. Hiring Manager interview
  3. 1-2 additional interviews based on the role
  4. Culture Check interview with an executive
