What we do

unfair.so helps AI startups launch and distribute on X (and soon LinkedIn, Substack, and other platforms).

Stanley, beehiiv, FullStory, Stan, Smartlead and others have launched with us.

Under the hood, we're building a platform with 1,000+ creators where brands can pick people based on who actually follows them, run the whole campaign, and turn engagement into leads.

Most of our clients are on a performance plan: a small monthly fee plus a fee per 100K views a launch brings. We don't take a cut of the creator budget. We run 50+ launches a month.

Our clients are funded tech startups, most of them in San Francisco, run by founders who expect a lot. We started in August 2026, so the processes are young and you'll help build them.

Remote · full-time · any time zone, as long as you can work US hours

What you'll do

Until now one person owned a launch end to end: the client, the creators, the narrative, the payments. We're splitting that into two roles. The launch lead owns the narrative, the creator list and launch day. You own the client: the relationship, the calendar, the money, the renewals and the growth of the account. You work every launch together.

Own the client after the sale. Kickoff call in the first days, a shared Slack channel, clear expectations on what a launch can and can't do. You collect what the launch needs before anyone starts: launch time, the final video and post text, which X account we work from and delegated access to it, and the client's sign-off on the creator list and prices. You're their main person at unfair: calls, Slack, ideas, problems, good news, bad news. Today this sits with the founders, between everything else.

Keep the launch calendar full and funded. Every client should have their next 2–3 launches on the calendar: dates confirmed, creator budget paid before launch day, and content from their side (founder video, assets, announcement copy) in on time. You chase.

Own the money. Performance-fee invoice at 72 hours. You explain how the fee is counted, reissue an invoice when a client needs a different entity or a W-9, and handle downgrades and cancellations within the rules.

Brief and prepare. Clarify the client's goal, agree the angle and focus with the launch lead, brief the client on content requirements and on how launch day works, build their monthly activity plan. You don't write the launch copy. The launch lead does the creative work; you make sure the client understands it and signs off in time.

Be the client's voice in the team. You hold the launch lead to the dates and deliverables you agreed with the client, flag early when something will slip, and bring the client's feedback back to the team. You coordinate the launch team on your accounts.

Close the loop after every launch. Results the same day, follow-ups at 24 and 72 hours, a short retro against our benchmarks, the next step agreed. A written recap after every call. A client should never have to ask "so how did it go?"

Be the first responder when something goes wrong. X flags a video, repost counts break, a launch gets views and no signups, a client disputes a fee. You answer within the hour with facts, calm the channel, and know what to escalate to a founder.

Grow the accounts. More launches a month, bigger creator budgets, LinkedIn when it fits, renewals. You come to clients with the next idea before they ask: the founder said something on a podcast, a competitor launched, a format worked for someone else. Nobody owns this today. Spot the quiet ones before they churn.

Keep the system true. Client and campaign pages in Notion, calls and emails in Attio, a weekly health check per client. Our AI agents draft most of this; you make sure it's right and tell us where they're wrong.

Collect the proof. Testimonials, case studies, screenshots of results, referrals and intros from happy clients.

Build the process. A lot isn't set up yet: automated reminders, the hand-off between you and the launch lead. If you know the tools, you lead the setup.
