About the Role

The International Consumer product team is responsible for building and scaling Affirm's direct-to-consumer products and experiences across international markets. This includes apps, wallets, marketplace, and related offerings that help consumers discover, use, and manage Affirm.

As a Senior Product Manager on the International Consumer team, you will drive the strategy, execution, and growth of Affirm's direct-to-consumer products across international markets, from iterating on the product vision, refining the product strategy, and developing a roadmap, to leading execution. You will work closely with a broad set of cross-functional teams across the business, as well as a number of engineering teams. Effective stakeholder management and the ability to navigate organizational dynamics are a must. You should be commercially minded, high agency with a bias towards action, and comfortable having technical conversations (and opinions).

What You'll Do

  • Drive the execution, growth, and scale of Affirm's consumer products and experiences across international markets
  • Adapt Affirm's direct-to-consumer products for international markets by understanding consumer needs, analyzing performance data, and iterating on features and capabilities
  • Drive success metrics by shipping high-impact work that meaningfully moves the needle for Affirm's business and customers
  • Partner effectively with engineering teams across the organization to drive product development and prioritization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (Design, Research, Analytics, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Credit, Fraud, etc.) to shape your roadmap and incorporate legal, governance, and regulatory oversight into your products
  • Understand Affirm's international consumers at a deep level: what's important to them, what drives their decisions, why they love Affirm, and what they wish we could do better
  • Identify and create experiences that make it seamless for consumers to discover, use, and manage Affirm across apps, wallets, marketplace, and related direct-to-consumer offerings

What We Look For

  • You've directly managed technical software products from kick-off to post-launch, driving meaningful business impact that you can speak to
  • You have experience working on consumer technology products in Canada, UK, EU, or Australia (bonus if in fintech, commerce, marketplaces, or payments)
  • You're equally comfortable diving into technical details with an engineer, iterating on a Figma with a designer, and breaking down a funnel with a data analyst
  • You have the discipline, organizational skills, and interpersonal communication skills to navigate complex organizational dynamics, with specific examples of securing decisions from a broad group of senior stakeholders
  • You've worked in an environment reliant on engineering teams outside your direct purview and effectively influenced them to prioritize and build what your product needed
  • You care about getting things done, have a bias towards action, and can navigate obstacles and blockers
  • You can turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into a solid action plan
  • You have direct experience shipping high-quality products on time
  • You're comfortable with the commercial aspects of product development, connecting customer needs, product decisions, and business outcomes, and making clear tradeoffs across them
