Responsibilities

  • Design & develop backend services and APIs in Go
  • Implement user features
  • Identify & resolve performance bottlenecks for high-load systems
  • Write technical specs & contribute to architectural planning
  • Ensure code quality through reviews and best practices
  • Address security concerns across code, processes, and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams

What makes you the perfect fit

  • 5+ years of backend development experience
  • Expertise in Postgres or other SQL databases
  • CI/CD & DevOps familiarity (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
  • English proficiency at B1 level or higher

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve backend delivery practices to improve quality and time-to-market
  • Establish delivery standards and acceptance criteria across the lifecycle in alignment with QA and Product/Business Analysis
  • Standardize technical collaboration and interface guidelines with other FxPro engineering teams
  • Stay hands-on (~50% workload) and drive delivery of selected backend initiatives
  • Lead technical analysis for upcoming features, providing solution design input and risk/feasibility considerations
  • Maintain high code quality through refactoring, clean architecture practices, and technical debt management
  • Conduct code reviews and provide actionable feedback on implementations and technical proposals
  • Share people-management responsibilities with the Project Manager, including goals, performance reviews, and growth plans

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in C# development with strong .NET platform expertise
  • Strong SQL skills with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL, including cases where ORMs are not used
  • Experience with message brokers and event-driven integration (e.g., Kafka, Solace)
  • Experience in test automation, including component-level tests
  • Experience modernizing legacy systems and migrating to new platforms
  • 3+ years of engineering leadership experience
  • Proven ability to drive technical analysis and communicate decisions effectively across teams
  • Experience establishing and maintaining engineering standards, delivery routines, and team agreements
  • Advanced English (C1+) or higher
  • Direct people management experience (goals, performance, growth)
