About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on technical leader to drive the delivery of reliable, scalable data pipelines and AI-powered workflows at Toloka. As a Team Lead, youโ€™ll combine strong engineering expertise with solution-oriented thinking, guiding a cross-functional team of engineers in building production-grade pipelines using different tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced statistical analysis to derive key insights and guide product and marketing strategy, including regression and cohort analysis.
  • Oversee key product KPIs within a product-led growth framework, integrating user segmentation based on behavior and needs.
  • Set up and maintain comprehensive dashboards in Mixpanel, Metabase, and Google Analytics, ensuring data is accurately sent and integrated.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product roadmap with insights from data analysis and user feedback.
  • Use business intelligence tools for essential reporting and maintain quality assurance metrics.
  • Develop and manage data science features, ensuring effective display and integration in partnership with design.
  • Translate data analyses into clear business recommendations to enable strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analysis role, with a strong focus on product and marketing analysis.
  • Proven understanding of product and marketing dynamics; we are not seeking candidates with a primary background in banking or finance.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, statistics libraries, and business intelligence tools.
  • Advanced understanding of statistical analysis, data visualization, and predictive modeling.
  • Proven experience performing cohort analysis, user segmentation, and predictive modeling to forecast user behavior and trends.
  • Proven ability to translate data into strategic insights that drive successful business outcomes.
  • Experience with A/B testing.
  • Familiarity with Mixpanel, Metabase, and Google Analytics, including setting up dashboards and data integration.

Our Frontend Ops team is responsible for build systems, code quality assurance, and improving the overall Developer Experience (DX) across our frontend infrastructure. Weโ€™re looking for an experienced engineer who will help us speed up builds, streamline workflows, and optimize tooling.โ€

How Youโ€™ll Drive Success

  • Improve the speed and developer experience of local builds
  • Enhance the speed and efficiency of CI builds
  • Optimize and refine CI/CD configurations
  • Improve the internationalization (i18n) system and related workflows

What makes you the perfect fit

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend or infrastructure engineeringStrong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Proficiency with Node.js for tooling and scripting
  • Solid understanding of Webpack and experience configuring complex build pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with GitLab CI and creating/maintaining CI/CD pipelines
