We are Rockup - a startup building a new kind of social networking and messaging mobile app focused on real-time geolocation. Think Telegram meets Tinder, but with a focus on location and communities - a tool for connecting with the people around you when you need it most.

Backed by a profitable sister company, we have the energy and agility of a startup coupled with resources of a mature organization. Weโ€™re a fast-moving startup nearing our MVP launch, and weโ€™re looking for a diligent and inquisitive GIS Data Analyst. This is a real chance to influence a product early on that could scale to millions of users around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Data Engineering: Source, evaluate, and extract geospatial data from various sources (APIs, open and commercial datasets, OSM, government portals, etc.)
  • Data Quality: Develop data quality metrics. Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for collecting, cleaning, validating, and deduplicating spatial data
  • GIS Work: Create, process, and manage the core geospatial datasets (polygons, points of interest) that are the heart of our product (buildings, streets, parks, neighborhoods, stadiums, etc.)
  • Product Analytics: Analyze user behavior relative to geographic locations. Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for growth
  • Presentation: Conduct deep spatial and product analysis, translate findings into product and business language, and present your conclusions, defending your point of view with data

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of SQL, including experience with spatial extensions (e.g., PostGIS, BigQuery GIS)
  • Strong experience with Python and its data stack (pandas, geopandas, requests, scikit-learn, etc.)
  • Experience building ETL/ELT processes for data collection and processing
  • Deep understanding of GIS concepts: coordinate systems, projections, geometry types, spatial operations, and queries
  • Experience in product or data analytics: ability to work with product metrics, funnels, and user behavior analysis
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Conditions

  • Exert direct influence on analytics culture and processes in an early-stage company
  • Work in a hybrid setup from sunny Limassol, or remotely if youโ€™re a great fit
  • Relocation package (if applicable), and help with the work permit
  • Competitive salary + launch-based performance bonuses
  • Fast growth opportunities as we expand beyond Cyprus
  • Comfortable office space with fruits and snacks
  • Birthday gifts and welcome baby bonuses

What you'll do:

Process Discovery & Solution Definition

  • Workflow Mapping: Partner with internal teams to deeply analyze day-to-day workflows, mapping end-to-end processes to identify bottlenecks and AI automation opportunities.
  • Translation to Engineering: Convert vague business needs (e.g., "I spend too much time on reporting") into concrete technical requirements and user stories for the AI Systems Engineer (e.g., "Create an n8n workflow that pulls data from API X, summarizes it with GPT-4, and posts to Slack").
  • ROI Analysis: Prioritize requests based on time saved and business impact. Decide what shouldbe automated versus what should remain manual.

Product Management (The Internal Platform)

  • Platform Vision: Manage the roadmap for our internal "Operating System." ensuring that individual automation scripts are built as modular components of a larger, unified platform.
  • Backlog Management: Own the engineering backlog. Triage incoming requests, define acceptance criteria, and manage sprint priorities for the engineering team.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Verify that the built solutions actually solve the problem before they are rolled out to the wider team.

Adoption & Change Management

  • Rollout Strategy: You are responsible for ensuring the team actually uses the tools we build. Create documentation, record Loom walkthroughs, and host training sessions.
  • Feedback Loops: proactively collect feedback on AI agents and workflows. Identify edge cases where the AI fails and work with engineering to refine the logic.
  • Metrics: Track the usage and success rates of internal tools (e.g., "Hours saved per week," "Agent adoption rate").

What you bring:

  • Experience: 3+ years in Product Management, Technical Project Management, or Business Analysis, ideally working with Engineering or Data teams.
  • Technical Literacy: You do not need to be a coder, but you must understand API concepts (triggers, endpoints, payloads), Logic (if/then, loops), and AI capabilities (what LLMs can and cannot do).
  • Process Oriented: You have a talent for bringing order to chaos. You can look at a messy creative process and structure it into a linear workflow.
  • Tooling Proficiency: Experience managing projects in tools like Jira, Linear, or ClickUp. Familiarity with automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier) is a massive plus.
  • Communication: You are the translator. You can explain business needs to developers and technical constraints to business stakeholders.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a Digital Agency or AdTech environment (understanding concepts like Media Buying, CRM, Reporting).
  • Hands-on experience building simple automations (Zapier/Make) yourself.
  • Experience with Product Wireframing tools (Figma/Miro) to visualize internal dashboards.

What we offer:

  • USD compensation that values your expertise.โ€
  • Work from anywhere: Fully remote to suit your lifestyle.โ€
  • 31 days of paid time off: 21 days of annual leave + 10 days of sick leave, because your health and work-life balance matter.โ€
  • Growth-focused environment: Access to learning resources and clear pathways for growth.โ€
  • Fun team events: Virtual cooking classes, yoga sessions, team quizzes and more
  • โ€A culture of trust: We cut the red tape โ€” results over rules always. Open talk, ownership, and getting things done together.

Steps of the selection process:

  • Screening Interview (45 minutes) โ€“ Initial conversation with a recruiter.
  • Team Interview (up to 60 minutes) โ€“ A meeting with your potential Team Lead and future colleagues to assess team fit and discuss role-specific responsibilities, expectations and workflows.โ€
  • Final Interview (Up to 60 minutes) โ€“ Meet with the Team Lead for an in-depth discussion of your experience and skills.
  • Offer โ€“ If successful, youโ€™ll receive an offer to join our team.

At LearnWorlds, we believe learning is the original human superpower โ€” the force that turns knowledge into products, skills, and progress.
Our platform helps creators, educators, and organizations in more than 150 countries turn expertise into scalable learning experiences that sell, teach, and transform.

As AI floods the world with information, learning becomes the only countermeasure โ€” the skill that keeps humans creative, relevant, and in control. The winners wonโ€™t be those who automate fastest, but those who learn and adapt fastest. Theyโ€™ll need platforms that turn knowledge into teachable systems that scale โ€” and thatโ€™s exactly what LearnWorlds enables.

Weโ€™re a profitable, product-led SaaS company at an inflection point โ€” expanding from category strength into category leadership. The next stage of our growth is about precision, narrative clarity, and systemic excellence: how product, marketing, and customer experience operate as one continuous engine of learning, inside and out.

And to build this next chapter, we need a designer who works the same way: adaptive, curious, fast, and deeply product-minded.

Weโ€™re looking for a Mid Product Designer (3โ€“5 years of experience) who can work independently, bring strong UI instincts, and move fast with ambiguity. Someone energetic, collaborative, and curious โ€” comfortable using AI as part of their daily workflow, and confident enough to influence PMs, engineers, and peers.

This is not a conventional design job. Youโ€™ll be designing for a system of systems โ€” one that powers learning businesses at scale โ€” which means youโ€™ll need versatility, ownership, and the drive to ship meaningful work at high velocity. We experiment, we iterate, we move.

If youโ€™re a multi-tool designer โ€” visual, interaction, systems โ€” who can draw on every skill to tackle complex, fast-moving product challenges and deliver high-impact solutions with clarity and speed, then continue reading.

How you work

  • You use AI as an extension of your thinking, accelerating your design process and finding clever ways to deliver value faster.
  • You design with strong UI instinct, turning ambiguity into simple, intuitive, expected and unexpected solutions.
  • You tell stories that land, clear, warm, confident communication that convinces stakeholders and aligns teams.
  • You bring spark, introducing new ideas, tools, and ways of working that energize the team and help others grow.
  • You ship end-to-end across scopes, backed by real SaaS experience that shows you care about outcomes.

How we work

  • We design efficiently. We pull from patterns, lean on our design system, and use AI to speed things up while keeping quality high.
  • We donโ€™t run traditional research cycles. We know our users, we hear them loud and clear, and we loop them in when it matters.
  • We challenge each other. We debate with strong opinions, lightly held โ€” no ego, no politics.
  • We learn as we go. We share what we know and what we donโ€™t to level up together.
  • We work as a service. We juggle multiple projects at once, so ownership, autonomy, and sharp task management are key to succeeding.

Requirements. Good to know before applying

  • Weโ€™re hiring for a mid-level Product Designer (3โ€“5 years of experience) โ€” strong enough to work independently, still hungry enough to grow fast.
  • A portfolio showcasing high-quality design work, highlighting your role, thought process, and impact in solving specific product challenges is a must.
  • Design tasks are part of the process: they show your skills and they are key for us to preview how we could potentially collaborate.
  • English proficiency is essential: itโ€™s our daily working language.
  • Weโ€™re a fully remote team based in Europe, with offices in Athens, Crete, and Limassol. We donโ€™t offer relocation or visa sponsorship.

Benefits

  • Private life and health insurance plan
  • Fully remote work if you prefer to work from home, apart from when we have team meetings a few times per year
  • Your personal annual training budget
  • An annual home office allowance to set up your personal space
  • Company laptop & monitor
  • 23 days of paid time off
  • 3 early summer Fridays in July and August
  • A free LearnWorlds School to build and sell your own courses
  • Work in one of the globally top 5 e-learning courses platform
  • An opportunity to grow alongside us and shape the look and feel of tomorrowโ€™s e-learning
  • An entrepreneurial, international, and highly motivated team with a flat hierarchy that will both challenge you and help you reach your highest potential
  • Annual company retreats (see the video of our latest retreat).
