Role

We are considering both experienced team leaders or Middle+/Senior Python Developers willing to pivot toward team-leading roles! This role is for playing coaches - you will not just do people management but also develop the most complex parts of Improvado's data services.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Being in charge of your team's performance
• Participation in creating and developing the backend part of the product (high-load marketing data platform)
• Internal team processes development and introduction of new tools and practices
• Responsibility for the team's atmosphere and motivation, its growth and development
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience
• At least 2 years of experience in Python development
• Experience in the position of Team Lead (as a "playing coach") or good communication skills and desire to make a new career step
• Knowledge of SQL, including query optimization and database configuration
• Experience using Linux at the advanced user level
• Ability to write simple and maintainable code (design patterns, SOLID, DDD)
• Experience in developing multi-threaded applications
• Understanding how to drive a team and see its strengths/weaknesses
  

Preferred‍

• Ability to work with Django (+DRF), PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, Redis, Docker
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Experience in developing high-load and/or ETL, BigData projects

What you will do

• Write IT commercial-related articles in English
• Research and analyze topics before writing the content
• Create descriptions for dribble
• Create a content plan for social media

• Work with an SEO specialist and team members (Designers, developers and etc.)

Role

Our company needs a tech-savvy and English-speaking Project Manager to work with the team that develops game-changing transformational products (data models for marketers). Therefore, we are actively expanding in development and are looking for a Project Manager that will help us to build effective delivery processes for these products!

Key responsibilities include:

• Be responsible for the Transformation product development team
• Managing tasks implementation and monitoring the quality of passing through the full development cycle
• Ensuring effective communication among teams: engineers, system analysts, sales, and customer support
• Supporting and optimizing the internal processes of product, project, and service delivery
• Develop and monitor the maintenance of project documentation

‍About You:

• Working experience in a tech company from 1 year in one of the roles: project manager, product owner, team lead
• Experience in managing a team of at least 5 people
• Understanding of various IT development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, RUP), their pros and cons
• Expert knowledge of project/task management systems such as JIRA or other analogs
• Software development life cycle understanding
• Ready to take ownership and get things done
• People are more important than processes, and you understand this perfectly well
• English: your level lets you read & write at least, plus you are ready to improve your language skills

Hard Skills:

• Good tech background: you can work with 3rd party APIs
• Basic SQL knowledge

Nice to have:

• Martech & AdTech understanding
• Project Management experience in SaaS, BigData, or high-load projects

What you'll do:

• Search for new partners and onboard them (negotiations, presentations, personal meetings);
• Communicate with clients based in the US (sometimes according to their time-zone);
• Analyze the market of affiliate marketing and track its trends;

• Provide reports on the work performed.
