As an automation QA engineer, you will join an amazing team who are committed to improving product quality. In this role, you will focus on product quality assurance while considering functionality, performance, security, GUI and many other factors.

You will use Java/Kotlin, Selenium, Selenide, REST Assured, TestNG, Gradle, Git, TestRail, and Jenkins while performing automation testing for either web or mobile applications.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

Closely collaborate with the development team to help deliver high quality software
Understand and translate business requirements to technical requirements
Enhance software delivery and quality throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle
Perform automated functional and performance testing
Design and develop the test automation framework, implement required libraries, and conduct auto-tests
Maintain CI pipelines and integrate automated scripts into CI tools
Manage any issues that may arise and drive resolutions throughout the testing process
Actively participate in the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle

Main requirements:

BSc/MSc in Computer Science
Minimum 4 years’ experience in quality assurance and test automation (functional GUI and API)
Practical experience in automation testing with Java (Selenium, REST Assured, or similar for mobile automation) is a must
Experience in writing queries for SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience in agile software development methodologies and testing procedures
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

Job requirements

Solid knowledge of networking environments, protocols and OSI model;
In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices;
Basic knowledge of Python programming;
Experience with Robot Framework test development is a plus;
Experience with cloud networking solutions including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus;
Fluency in Linux and/or Windows shell scripting is a plus;
Experience with front-end testing technologies (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber) is a plus;
Good written and oral communication skills in English;

About the Manual QA role

We need you to make sure we are shipping a shiny and polished product, free from hitches, glitches, snags, hiccups, crashes, or any other defects. You'll be architecting and developing a safety net that makes it hard for bugs to sneak through. This involves contributing to our modern test automation platform. You won't be afraid to speak up for quality when a deadline is approaching and there is pressure to roll features out. You’ll be in close contract with the development and product teams as well as company founders and executives.

What you’ll do

Perform regression testing.

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our SecuriSync project team.

The ideal candidate will lead the testing processes for the project. This includes establishing QA processes for both manual and automated testing.

The role involves preparing and maintaining test documentation, testing and ensuring the quality of releases, and designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

A background in Selenium or Cypress is preferred, with knowledge of both being a plus. Experience with Azure Pipelines, Fiddler/Charles, and basic SQL knowledge are also advantageous.

As we are rewriting the UI to the Electron framework, this role requires maintaining existing automated tests and designing and establishing the testing process for the new version.

QA Engineer (Web Team)

Responsibilities

Provide smoke, feature, and regression testing of web applications
Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP protocols)
Update and create checklists
