- Integrate with third-party services such as CDNs, DRM providers, analytics, and identity management.
- Optimize APIs and backend processes to improve performance across various devices.
- Write clean, well-documented code and maintain high standards of code quality, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive technical excellence.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring service resilience and uptime.
- Use tools like Kibana, Grafana, Wireshark, or Charles Proxy to monitor and debug backend performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer, ideally in video streaming or SmartTV ecosystems.
- Solid experience with one or more backend languages (Java, Node.js, Go, Python, etc.).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of video streaming concepts: HLS/DASH, DRM, playback workflows, CDN integration.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities, including the OWASP Top 10.
- Experience conducting or participating in security-focused code reviews, with attention to input validation, authentication, and data protection.
- Familiarity with integrating automated security tools (e.g., SAST, dependency scanning) into the development workflow or CI/CD pipelines.
- Technical English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
