Main requirements:
- 3+/5+ years of experience in automation QA;

About the role:
A Solutions Architect designs, implements, and supports solutions to meet clients' needs, bridging the gap between technology and customer requirements, as part of Customer Engineering. Customer Engineering spans across both pre and post-sales. In this position, you will work closely with our Account Executives, Sales Engineers and Customer Success. You'll be a trusted technical advisor to a wide range of customers from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises within a specified region. What you will do:
- Architectural Leadership
- Lead architecture design sessions with customers and prospects to define secure, scalable, and resilient Wallarm deployments that align with customer requirements and infrastructure constraints.
- Develop detailed architecture blueprints and deployment plans for complex and hybrid environments.
- SME Enablement for Sales Engineers
- Serve as the primary technical overlay for Sales Engineers, providing deep subject matter expertise across Wallarmโs solution stack.
- Guide and mentor SEs on advanced deployment strategies, troubleshooting methodologies, and integration best practices.
- Proof-of-Value (POV) Execution
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers to design and implement complex customer POVs, ensuring the technical scope, success criteria, and architecture are clearly defined and achieved.
- Provide hands-on assistance throughout the POV process to ensure alignment with customer expectations and Wallarm standards.
- Customer Advocacy and Feedback
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, recommending API security best practices and architectural improvements.
- Gather and deliver actionable feedback from customer engagements to Product Management, influencing roadmap priorities and feature enhancements.
- Internal Enablement and Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to continuously refine Wallarm solution architectures and implementation methodologies.
- Contribute to technical enablement programs, training materials, and best-practice guides for the Sales Engineering and Solutions Architecture teams.
- Moderate travel required
What you will need:
- Real-world hands-on experience with Kubernetes, NGINX, and cloud vendors is required
- 3โ7 years in a technical customer-facing role (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Security Consultant)
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience serving in the capacity of a technical pre-sales engineer at a SaaS security vendor
- Knowledge of the Application Security industry, products, vendor landscape, history, and emerging trends. Prior experience in API security, API management, SIEM, Software Development, DevOps, DevSecOps, or web application firewalls is preferred
- Strong presentation skills and ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in presenting and delivering technical pitches to CISOs, architects, and technical staff

The position
You'll be joining a team of engineers across Frontend, Backend, SRE and QA. We're organised into cross-functional development teams assigned to specific verticals.
This role is open for several teams, and we will define the exact team that you will be joining during the interview process based on the business needs and your preferences.
Regardless of the specific team, you will be working on building tools, APIs and integrations for one of our products.
Our backend is built with Elixir and Phoenix, with a Postgres database. We use React and Next.js for our front-end. GitLab is used as a version control tool and a CI/CD solution. Your main tasks will be:
