From here, we’re expanding to tackle IBS and other lifestyle-driven chronic issues, leveraging continuous glucose monitors and advanced at-home tests to deliver real-time, personalized feedback that empowers lasting health changes.

In the last eight months, we’ve grown 1000% — scaling our ARR from $250K to $2.5M—and kicked off our B2B expansion by partnering with six clinics. We are backed by notable investors, including a16z, Sequoia, Long Journey Ventures, Lux, Valor, and the founders of Flo Health and Deel, among others.

If you’re passionate about transforming healthcare through cutting-edge technology and real-world impact, Aspect Health is the place to be.

About the Team

  • We work hard and move fast—but without compromising on clinical reliability.
  • We’re global—our team spans multiple regions, bringing different perspectives and expertise.

We’re looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to join our Barcelona-based engineering team and help scale our platform for millions of users managing metabolic health conditions like PCOS, diabetes, and IBS.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Product and Head of Marketing to build rapid prototypes, ship production-grade features, and lay the groundwork for a world-class developer culture.
You will be the owner of the success of product features - you’ll work with your product counterparts to ensure that the requirements are clear and then follow up with owning the feature delivery end-to-end.

Required:

  • 6+ years of full-stack or backend engineering experience, with expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
  • Solid command of frontend and mobile development, including React, React Native, and the Expo framework—able to build and ship features across the full stack.
  • Ability to write production code, review pull requests, and build rapid prototypes for testing ideas or validating demand.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and cloud infrastructure, including GCP, Redis, CI/CD (GitLab preferred), and monitoring (Grafana).
  • Proven experience with complete ownership of feature delivery, including experience leading agile processes(standups, retros, sprint planning) and ensuring predictable, on time, on scope delivery.
  • Hands-on experience setting up test frameworks and building test coverage from 0 to 1.
  • Proficiency with analytics and instrumentation tools, including Amplitude, GA4, and basic data debugging.
  • Very good communication skills in English, both written and in person - be able to explain a problem or challenge to a stakeholder over a call, or through slack - and ensure that you have a resolution.

Bonus

  • Experience with healthcare, wearables, or chronic condition platforms.
  • Prior experience introducing AI tools for engineering velocity (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, codegen pipelines).
  • Strong product instincts or prior experience collaborating closely with high-performing product managers—able to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and think critically about tradeoffs.
  • Track record of growing into leadership roles in early-stage companies.
  • Passion for building solutions that help people manage chronic health conditions using real-time data.

Why This Role Is Exciting

  • You’ll define and own the technical backbone of a fast-growing health-tech company solving critical real-world problems.
  • You’ll stay close to code while influencing architecture, delivery processes, and team culture.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to grow into a Team Lead role as the team scales—this is a foundational hire.
  • Your work will empower people with metabolic disorders like PCOS, diabetes, NAFLD, and IBS to regain control of their health using data from wearables and AI.
  • You’ll shape the next generation of AI-enabled developer workflows, boosting productivity through modern tools and smart automation.

What We Offer

  • Generous PTO: Take the time you need to stay fresh and inspired.

We are looking for an experienced and strategic-thinking Staff Backend Engineer to join our R&D team (250+ people: developers, QA engineers, designers, technical support engineers, DevOps engineers, and product managers).

This is a key technical leadership role — Staff Engineer in our company is not just an expert developer, but a person who takes responsibility for the technical success of their cluster (a group of 2–4 cross-functional micro-teams working on related functionality).

We expect you to act as a technical driver: helping teams solve complex engineering challenges, improving architecture, scaling processes, and ensuring that technical decisions lead to sustainable product growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Taking ownership of the technical strategy and architecture within the cluster.
  • Collaborating closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and other Staff Engineers to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Helping teams design scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Conducting technical reviews of critical changes and driving engineering best practices.
  • Identifying technical risks and finding ways to mitigate them early.
  • Mentoring senior engineers and raising the technical bar across the cluster.
  • Participating in hiring and onboarding processes for senior engineers.
  • Driving cross-team technical initiatives and improvements.

Technology stack

Ruby on Rails (7+), PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes; CI/CD Gitlab.

Experience with Ruby is not required — we are happy to consider candidates from any backend background who are ready to learn Ruby on Rails in the first 3 months.

What we expect from you

  • 10+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Experience designing and evolving architecture in complex systems.
  • A product mindset and understanding of how technical decisions impact business outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence without authority.
  • Experience driving cross-team initiatives and leading technical discussions.
  • Passion for clean code, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing.
  • Readiness to learn Ruby on Rails (if you don’t have experience yet).

What our Staff Engineers work on

Across all clusters, Staff Engineers are responsible for defining clear integration boundaries and public APIs for how their cluster interacts with other parts of the TaxDome platform.

Examples of domain-specific challenges by cluster:

  • [Getting Work Done] Bookkeeping: Categorization of client financial transactions, including leveraging AI to automate classification.
  • [CRM & Docs] Intake: Collection and categorization of client documents (including using AI) to support tax preparation workflows.
  • [Getting Paid] Payments: Development of an in-house payment provider, including secure payment processing and integrations.
  • [Communication] Implementation of a real-time chat solution
  • [Growth & Billing] Billing plans: Development of a solution for flexible management of client permissions based on subscription plans and individual access settings.

Salary range

  • 8800-11000$

We’re one of the world’s most popular health monitoring apps — 16 million downloads across 130 countries. At the intersection of biometrics, science, AI, and design, we help people better understand their health and well-being.

We’re looking for a strong Python engineer to take technical ownership of key system components and help reduce the load on our team lead. We need someone who can work independently, make thoughtful decisions, and drive tasks from start to finish — without needing support at every step.

What We’re Looking For

  • Python & Async Frameworks: You’re confident with Python (5+ years) and have solid experience with modern async frameworks like FastAPI or Litestar.
  • Architecture & Resilience: You know how to design systems that don’t fall apart as they scale. SOLID, DRY, OOP, and design patterns are tools you use daily — not just theoretical concepts.
  • Databases: You’ve worked with both PostgreSQL and NoSQL, and know how to build smart data models, not just write queries.
  • Infrastructure: You’re familiar with Kubernetes and DevOps principles. You don’t need to be a DevOps engineer, but understanding the infrastructure is a must.
  • Working with Legacy Code: You’re experienced in navigating complex legacy code, extracting modules, and improving structure — without breaking everything else.
  • Autonomy: You’re used to owning your work end-to-end and don’t shift responsibility to others.
  • AI Tools: You're open to using AI tools to boost your productivity and improve your work quality.
  • English: You can comfortably read documentation and write prompts in English.

What You’ll Be Working On

1.System Reliability & Stability

  • Keep our core services running smoothly
  • Set up alerts, take part in on-call rotations, and collaborate with DevOps
  • Optimize monitoring and reduce cloud costs through targeted improvements

2. Code Quality

  • Dive into messy code, improve structure, simplify logic, and clean up legacy
  • Support and scale the most heavily loaded areas of the system where errors are costly

3. Team Collaboration

  • Review code, suggest better solutions, and share your expertise
  • Support less experienced colleagues by helping them understand context and write reliable code
  • Quickly get up to speed on new features and tasks coming from other teams

The Team You’ll Join

You’ll be part of Core Backend — the team that keeps everything running and helps the rest of the company move faster. We’re not flashy, but nothing works without us.

Our mission is to speed up Time to Market, keep the architecture clean, reduce costs, and lay the foundation for scaling. Any serious backend challenge in the company usually ends up on our plate.

The team includes four backend engineers, a team lead, and two QA engineers. We have a collaborative, respectful culture where everyone’s voice is heard — and where experience is valued.

What We Offer

  • Flexible hours & a high-trust culture — we care about results, not clock time
  • Competitive salary, performance-based bonuses, and stock options
  • 50% hardware subsidy after 6 months
  • Access to a therapist & employee support program
  • Health insurance
  • Support for personal learning and development
  • Unlimited vacation policy
  • Culture of openness, honesty, and high standards

How to Apply

Click Apply for this job and send your application.

What happens next:

  • You’ll get an email with a 20‑minute questionnaire to share your contact details, resume link, and experience. We review every application and will get back to you either way.

If we’re a good match, the next steps are:

  • HR screening
  • Technical interview with the Team Lead
  • Team meeting (if needed).

Wallet in Telegram is a digital asset solution natively embedded into Telegram’s interface. Backed by The Open Platform, Wallet in Telegram gained 100M+ user accounts in 2024, and aims to make its solution available to all 1BN+ of Telegram’s users. Wallet in Telegram offers a dual-wallet experience with Crypto Wallet (a multi-chain wallet for trading and sending crypto to contacts) and TON Wallet (a self-custodial wallet with access to the TON ecosystem of dApps and tokens).

Now we are seeking a Backend/Fullstack Engineer in our Payments team. Our team builds and maintains the payment layer of Wallet — everything that connects crypto and fiat worlds. From buying and selling crypto with a bank card to enabling Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local payment methods. We don’t process payments directly — instead, we integrate with external providers ensuring the smoothest possible user experience and reliable transaction flow.

We’re looking for a product-oriented engineer with strong backend skills and curiosity for frontend. You’ll help improve payment flows, build integrations, and ensure that buying or selling crypto inside Telegram feels effortless. The role offers autonomy, collaboration with product and engineering teams, and a chance to work on systems used by millions of people worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain integrations with external payment providers (like Mercuryo, MoonPay, and others) who handle direct fiat and crypto transactions.
  • Ensure smooth operation of existing integrations — monitor stability, resolve issues, and improve performance and UX of payment flows.
  • Design reliable, cost-efficient backend solutions that connect our wallet ecosystem with third-party services.
  • Optimize the speed and reliability of payment flows within Telegram Wallet, making purchases and sales of crypto seamless for users worldwide.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and other teams, driving discussions and proposing improvements from a technical perspective.
  • Improve backend performance to meet the company’s latency and performance standards.

Requirements:

  • Make well-reasoned engineering decisions with a focus on product delivery and fast iterations.
  • Demonstrate product thinking and a genuine interest in what you build.
  • Senior-level Python backend experience (any stack).
  • Good experience with PostgreSQL — from schema design to query optimization.
  • Interest or experience in frontend development (React + TypeScript) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of blockchain and crypto transactions.
  • Self-awareness and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and openness to feedback.
  • Proficiency in English (at least level B1) is required. Knowledge of Russian is preferred.

Why it is a fantastic opportunity:

  • Our business is growing at an exponential scale.
  • Non-bureaucratic management that focuses on results.
  • Regular performance reviews to assess your progress.
  • Remote setup with access to our hubs in Dubai, Yerevan, London and Belgrade.
  • Compensation for medical expenses.
  • Provision of necessary equipment.
  • 20 working days of paid vacation annually.
  • 11 days off per year.
  • 14 days of paid sick leave to support your health and recovery when needed.
  • Access to internal conferences, English courses and corporate events.
