Our product: We are currently working on Total Battle — an MMO 4X strategy game with a deep political system and lots of player interaction. Our game project has a code base of ~300k SLOC and consists of multiple services running in several hundred instances. The game services are a sharded system for horizontal scaling.

Our team is seeking a Tech Lead with deep C++ expertise and strong architectural vision to steer the evolution of new game functionality for a large-scale multiplayer project with long-term gameplay.

Our team's objective and the challenge they face is to create an outstanding technical design that ensures quality, flexibility, and simplicity in the development of in-game features.

Tasks:

• Identifying and eliminating issues that reduce developer effectiveness on the team or lead to low-quality solutions.
• Coordinating with Framework and Core teams to resolve problems that arise when using their solutions and overseeing the remediation process.
• Conducting technical reviews of solutions developed within the team.
• Creating a preliminary solution design, decomposing features based on it, and training the team in these skills.
• Participating in hiring new developers: evaluating candidates and conducting technical interviews.

Job requirements:

• 5+ years of production software development experience, including 3+ years in backend engineering.

You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle - from sourcing and engaging top talent to ensuring a smooth hiring and onboarding experience across multiple geographies and roles.

We are looking for someone who combines strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, results-driven approach. An ideal TAS is curious, people-oriented, and able to connect with individuals in a way that inspires and motivates them. You thrive in a fast-paced, international environment, can manage priorities independently, and at the same time work seamlessly as part of a team.

This is a short-term contract role (6 months).

What you'll actually do:

• Plan and implement the assigned hiring strategy and initiatives
• Source, screen and build a pipeline of candidates to support growth across multiple geographies.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and engage them throughout the hiring process, maintaining communication along the way.
• Demonstrate innovation in sourcing techniques for candidates, both technical and in person.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws through the process.
• Be a trusted partner to the hiring managers before, during and after the core process is initiated.
• Administer and submit all hiring work for new employees
• Maintain weekly reporting on Talent Acquisition activities
• Work closely with all stakeholders to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges
• Proactively seek market intelligence to gain a competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies
• Suggest new ideas for improving Talent Acquisition activities
• All other duties as assigned

Who we’re looking for:

• Previous working experience preferably as an IT Recruiter for 4 years.
• Bachelor's Degree in HR or similar relevant field
• In-depth knowledge of candidates selection methods
• Experience in regional hiring
• Excellent understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes
• Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
• Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
• A positive, “can do” attitude
